Stop ULEZ expansion

London, UK. 5 August, 2023. Protest against planned expansion of the Ultra Low Emissions Zone, designed to reduce air pollution in London, which levies a charge on higher polluting vehicles entering the zone. Air pollution in London, mostly from traffic, is estimated to contribute to the premature deaths of around 4,000 people per year. While the scheme was conceived by Conservative Mayor Boris Johnson it's expansion under Labour Mayor Sadiq Khan has become a focus of right-wing opposition.
