London, UK. 15 July, 2023. Climate activists from Fossil Free London and Just Stop Oil protest at the Department for Energy Security & Net Zero (DESNZ) against the proposed development of the Rosebank oil field by Norwegian state-owned oil company Equinor which, campaigners say, threatens both climate targets and marine wildlife. Located 130 kilometres west of the Shetland Islands it is the biggest undeveloped oil field in the North Sea. After a rally at DESNZ many marched to the Equinor HQ in Paddington via Marble Arch where a die-in was staged.
