London, UK. 17 June, 2023. Climate activists from Scientists for XR stage a protest calling on London's Science Museum to stop accepting fossil fuel sponsorship from Adani Group, a major coal producer and from Norwegian state-owned oil company Equinor and UK oil giant BP. The protest follows recent remarks by UN Secretary General Antonio Gutteres that fossil fuel companies were trying to "knee-cap" efforts to combat the threat of global heating.
