London, UK. 28 June, 2023. Climate activists from Scientists for XR deliver a huge piece of fake coal to the Science Museum and called for it to drop fossil fuel sponsorship from Indian coal giant Adani, UK oil major BP and Norway's Equinor. All three plan to expand fossil fuel extraction despite warnings from the International Energy Agency and the UN that doing so reduces the possibility of combatting global heating. The action coincided with a meeting of the museum Board of Trustees from which Jo Foster and Hannah Fry resigned over Adani sponsorship.
