London, UK. 13 July, 2023. Rally outside Kings Cross station organised by rail union RMT as the train industry body the Rail Delivery Group (RDG) launch a consultation that could see nearly every train station ticket office in England close within three years. Campaigners opposing the plans, which also include disability and passenger groups, maintain closures are a cost cutting measure which would make the railway less safe, secure and accessible in addition to causing job cuts.
