A coalition including Global Justice Now, Extinction Rebellion and Debt Justice protest the appointment of the CEO of the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), Sultan Al Jaber, as President of the COP28 UN climate summit, outside the offices of oil and gas industry association IPIECA. Critics note that while COP28 exists to create policies to limit global temperature rises ADNOC plans to increase fossil fuel output.
